Project:
A custom, large‑scale planter constructed for a client using sturdy 5 × 5 Douglas‑fir posts, a robust 2 × 6 frame that encircles the top edge, and sleek black corrugated‑steel panels that fully clad the side walls, creating a durable and visually striking garden feature.
The corrugated‑steel panels provide a durable, low‑maintenance option for planters: they are long-lasting, clean easily, and harmonize with any patio‑furniture style.
The design was chosen to closely match the existing aesthetic of the house, and to provide a guard rail barrier along the edge of the concrete patio. The client was able to convey the ideas they had for the design and provided valuable feedback to fine tune it to their vision.
The interior of the planter features: A thick, black waterproof liner, a sloped bottom and a drainage system to allow water to escape.
